Bare Bones International Film Festival • Award Winner
In a Town This Size was honored as Best Documentary at the Bare Bones International Independent Film Festival’s awards ceremony in May 2012 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. A video of the awards ceremony, including Patrick’s acceptance speech, may be viewed here (speech begins at 19:45).
Trail Dance Film Festival • Nomination
In A Town This Size was screened and nominated for Best Feature Documentary at the Trail Dance Film Festival in Duncan, Oklahoma in January 2011.
Litchfield Hills Film Festival • Connecticut Governor's Screening
Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy and First Lady Cathy Malloy attended the Litchfield Hills Film Festival in New Milford in April, 2011 specifically to see In A Town This Size. Cathy Malloy is Executive Director of the Center for Sexual Assault, Crises Counseling and Education in Stamford; she spoke at length about the film the following week at an event honoring her for her work.
Bartlesville Arts Center • Oklahoma Hometown Screening
In October 2011, In a Town This Size screened for the first time for the community of Bartlesville. Hundreds of the community's citizens attended and stayed afterward for a panel discussion that delved deeply into the impact of the abuse and the film on the town where the events occurred years before.
State College, Pennsylvania • Penn State Screenings
In the wake of the controversy at Pennsylvania State University, In a Town This Size was received a community screening aimed at providing support and understanding for those affected by, or interested in, the impact of the molestation events at Penn State. Due to high demand the first screening in January, 2012 was followed by a second State College screening that April.

Circle Theatre, Tulsa • Special Fundraiser ScreeningScreenings by supporters of the film included a presentation at Tulsa's Circle Theatre in June 2011 as part of a fundraiser and community awareness panel.
Paramount Pictures • Hollywood PremierScreened for the first time in the town where In a Town This Size was produced, the film was shown to an audience comprised of those who were connected to the film: participants, production crews and supporters in May 2012. A panel discussion followed featuring Director Patrick Brown, several victims of the perpetrator's abuse and several experts on the issues surrounding pedophila.
